Here at Alottazs Labs, we have something to celebrate today (other than the New Year); our completion of crowd-funding. Supporters from across the world logged onto Fundable and pledged towards a smarter garage with Garageio.

Garageio is on Fundable.com!

We launched our much anticipated Fundable crowdfunding campaign (http://fundable.com/garageio) this Tuesday, November 12th to eager backers. We are excited by the show of support to date and grateful to those who believe in what we are doing. Garageio has come a long way from the proverbial napkin drawing (it was a very lovely napkin) and now, we step into the light to be counted.

Garageio Launch Party

This past Saturday, we set aside our computers and soldering irons to celebrate a milestone in Garageio’s history, its launch. It has only been a year since we started but so much has happened. Over the past 12 months, we developed, designed, coded, tested, tweaked, sketched, ordered, assembled, discussed, wrote, argued and agreed our way to what we have today.

Friends and family enjoyed themselves as we reminisced about our journey. I speak for the entire team when I say, thank you all for celebrating this milestone with us!

Video Shoot

4ofUs We began in the early afternoon hours on our newest video for Garageio® this past Saturday.  All hands were on deck for this historic event to debut our first prototype.  Co-founders, Zak Dziczkowski and Dave Reif, were pleased with the day’s events and felt it was a strong showing of team effort.  Zach Cochran and Greg Colarich, both in charge of business development, thought the shoot went very well and felt the content will be more than enough to show Garageio’s true value.

In the weeks to come, we plan to look into investment opportunities.  We are receiving numerous pre-orders and we thank those who have signed up for our updates!

First Garageio Blackbox Prototype

Today marks a special day for us at Alottazs Labs.  Today, our dream became a reality.  The arrival of our first prototype brings us one step closer to market and the beginning of a paradigm shift on standards of connected devices.  All of us here are gearing up for our first round of testing and look forward our release to the market shortly.

Prototype Update

As fall approaches, Garageio is working hard on putting the finishing touches on the prototypes. It is these prototypes which will be distributed to our local testing team in and around Columbus in the coming weeks. We are truly excited to get our work into real households. I wanted to take this opportunity to give you a preview of the iOS app interface. The user interface is still constantly being tweaked but this should give you an idea of what to expect.
